Construction
Swoon Worthy is a semi circle or a half moon shape shawl that starts at the center in the lightest color and gradually increases as the other 2 colors are introduced. Variety of different slip stitches and increase rows create a lovely texture througout and mixing of the colors will keep this knit fun and interesting. The shawl ends with the darkest color in a lace stitch which gives you a beautiful scalloped edge.
This shawl uses up as much of its 3 FULL skeins of fingering weight yarn, as possible. The yarns I used for this sample are 463y (423m) per 100g. If you are using yarns that have lower yardage/meterage than this, you might need to adjust the pattern and do less repeats or have additional skeins of yarn available.
The pattern will provide with options and recommendations to switch out colors and adjust the pattern so you can fully use up most of your yarn.

Yarn
Note: This is an approximate measurements of yarns. Any adjustments made in colors or gauge will result in more or less the amount of yarn required to make this project.
Sample shown in:
Swoon Fibers, Peyton Sock yarn.

75% fine superwash merino, 25% nylon; 463y (423m) / 100g.

C2 = about 19y (17m) / 4.2g of yarn left over from 1 full skein
C3 = about 43y (39m) / 9.5g of yarn left over from 1 full skein

Approx. 28 sts and 65 rows for 4” (10cm) in Ladder after blocking.
Note: Since this is a one size shawl with many different slip sts, the gauge measurement is approximate and shouldn’t affect the overall look of the shawl.

Needle
US 3 (3.25mm)
Note: Use needle size necessary to obtain gauge

Notions
Yarn scale or a kitchen scale to weight your yarns (highly recommended), circular needle (recommended), stitch markers, tapestry or darning needle for weaving in ends.
