What if you are too impatient for fair isle or stranded color work knitting, but like to have a color work sweater?
…. You figure out “a slipped stitches method that creates color work with only one color per round and without worrying about tension and floats”

SYDVESTER is worked seamlessly from the top down in an all over slip stitch colorwork pattern. You start shaping the neck with some front increase, and then continue to work - sort of - raglan increase along the markers down to sleeve separation. The sleeve stitches are then placed on hold, underarm stitches are cast on, and you continue to knit the body to the bottom ribbing. After the body is completed, sleeve stitches are placed back onto the needles to knit in the round.

Yarns are
A worsted weight for Main Color
A fingering weight for Contrast color
