YOU NEED
Yarn: 110, 120 (135, 150, 165, 175, 190) g of West Yorkshire Spinners Exquisite (80 % Falkland wool, 20 % Mulberry silk – 400 m / 437 yds / 100 g), colour Knitsbridge (148), and 70, 75 (85, 95, 105, 110, 120) g of Filcolana Tilia (70 % kid mohair, 30 % silk, 210 m / 230 yds / 25 g), colour cloud (358).
The vest is worked holding both yarns together.
Needles: 3.5 mm (US4) long circular needle and 3.5 mm (US4) 40 cm / 16” circular needle for armholes and neckline if you don’t magic loop.
Gauge: 18 sts x 26 rnds = 10 cm / 4” of st pattern.
Technique: The vest is worked top down seamlessly. First you cast on the sts for the back and work it flat to armholes. Then you pick up the sts for the fronts and work it flat until armholes. The work is joined in round and BO with Italian bind-off method. Lastly, you pick up the sts for armholes and the neckline.
