The sample is knit with 5 DPNs, but you can also work these anklewarmers with the magic loop technique. The anklewarmers are knitted bottom-up. You start with ribbed knitting and Latvian braid, then you work stranded color work and a second Latvian braid. Then you work stranded color work and you do a few increases at the same time (shown in chart). The anklewarmer is finished with Latvian braid, ribbed knitting, Latvian braid and ribbed knitting.

Suggestion! If you want a longer ankle/leg warmer you can repeat the sections shown in the repeat borders, just remember to try it on the leg to fit and add more increases and adjust the decreases before the ribbed knitting if needed.

Size! You can adjust the size with changing the gauge either by changing the needle size or choosing a yarn that is thicker or thinner to give you the gauge and size you like. (Example in the pattern)
