Whether you’re out in the woods walking amongst the trees, or in an urban setting reaching for your phone and texting, these mitts have you covered. The double layer cuff at the base of your fingers will keep them extra toasty and can easily be unfolded for more fingertip coverage.
Elegant ribbing all along the side provides a warm snug fit to hug your hands, while still allowing a comfortable amount of stretch and unrestricted movement.

PATTERN NOTES
These mitts are knit in the round on DPN’s from wrist to fingertips. Right and left mitts are worked similarly except for the placement of the thumb gusset and hand shaping; separate instructions are provided as needed.

YARN REQUIREMENTS
120 (125, 130) yds / 110 (115, 120) m worsted weight yarn. For best results, choose a yarn that holds its shape well so the ribbing maintains elasticity. (Sample shown: Classic Elite Mountaintop Vista in color “Ash”).
Substituting yarn: If your hands are smaller than the small size offered on the pattern, you could use a DK weight; or for hands larger than the largest size, use an Aran weight. For both substitutions, aim to knit your yarn at a slightly tight gauge for best results.

NEEDLES
US 6 / 4mm set of DPN’s. Adjust needle size if needed to get gauge specified for pattern.

NOTIONS
3 stitch markers, tapestry needle, scrap yarn.
