This seamless, raglan baby sweater with a touch of lace was inspired by the “woodsy” name of a friend’s first child. The pattern offers shorter (not-quite 3/4 sleeves) as well as traditional long sleeves. The shorter sleeves were a request to, hopefully, prevent drool-soaked cuffs while still providing some warmth from the over-air-conditioned buildings here.

I have provided a chart for the lace section as well as a written pattern.

If a closure is desired, a ribbon can be woven through the eyelet row or a button can be used with the first eyelet in the row as a buttonhole.
