Sylvia L. Halkin cardinal
This is a pattern for a top down circular yoke and using the stranded colourwork technique. This pattern is intended for knitters who are familiar with LARGE complex colourwork charts.
I have included a small written tutorial for the ladder-back jacquard technique, but you may use any float tacking technique you prefer.

yarn:
Shetland DK by Five Sisters Farm; DK; 100% Shetland
230yds (210m) / 120g
approximate yarn amounts:
colour A (Buttercup) - 820 (1093, 1421, 1531) {1968, 2351} yds / 750 (1000, 1300, 1400) {1800, 2150} m
colour B (Sage) - 202 (230, 268, 295) {322, 371} yds / 185 (210, 245, 270) {295, 340} m
needles:
3.5mm (us no 4) circular 40in/101cm; DPNs
4.0mm (us no 6) circular 40in/101cm; DPNs
gauge:
22 sts x 26 rows = 4in/10cm over stranded stockinette on 4.0mm needles
Some knitters work stranded and single-coloured at different gauges. Change needles, as needed, to keep the stitch gauge the same throughout.
approximate finished sizes:
1 (2, 3, 4) {5, 6}
chest circumference - 33.25 (38.25, 44.75, 49) {53.25, 59} in / 84.5 (97, 113.5, 124.5) {135.5, 150} cm
to be worn with 0 - 4 inches/ 0 - 10 cm positive ease, but please see schematic (in images, left) for approximate finished sizes to choose preferred fit
