Easy Breezy Beautiful Summer Cotton Brimmed hat with ties

Fits - Ages 6-12months or Size 1

Actual size is 50-54cm around (before the rim, pending on your tension)
And 15-16cm down (before the rim pending on your tension) and 20.5cm down including the rim/edge

I have given this as a range because toddler heads can vary greatly, to be more accurate you can use the actual measurements above. You want this to be a looser fit as it is a breezy and tied on summer hat, unlike a winter hat which you want snug. As well with the cotton it will not have any stretch or give to it.

This pattern is for mid tension hookers

It looks beautiful in light and neutral colors and pastels.

It also has two ties under the chin. I know my little girl can get hats off easily and they stand no chance of staying on if they don’t tie up.

Yarn - 8 ply cotton
I use Spotlights Flinders cotton 8ply 50g, you will need two balls but wont use all of the second ball. One of my testers used Crucci 8ply cotton.
Hook - 3 - 3.5mm
