A B O U T S Y L V I E ‘ S S U M M E R S U I T
Sylvie is our English grandma, great-grandma to our children. Whenever we go to see her, she showers our little ones with lots of fine gifts and even more encouraging words. She too is a knitter and we have received many packets in the post with beautifully squishy knitted jumpers in all colours and extravagant patterns, sent from great-grandma Sylvie. And when we have our big family gathering, with scones and jam and all, grandma Sylvie and I make sure to get our projects out, marvel at the other’s skills and talk all things knitting while sipping a cup of tea or two.

For the double knitted button band (option 1), one long 1,5 mm (US size 000) 60 cm (23,5”) or longer circular needle or 2 double pointed needles size 1,5 mm (US size 000). Note: this will not be needed if the button band is worked in 1x1 rib pattern (Option 2).
