Notes: Synaesthesia is a reversible toe-up sock knitted with double knitting technique. Starting from the toe with 2 strands of yarn held together, the instep is worked in pattern using double knitting technique while the sole is worked in ribbing. The gusset is worked in reverse St st, followed by a Fleegle heel. The leg is knitted around in pattern with double knitting technique which allows these socks to be worn reversibly, and is completed with a ribbed cuff.
It may be easier to work on the foot using DPNs due to the nature of double knitting technique. When working the instep, working two rows of the chart creates one actual row.
