Syne is a striped shawl worked in four sections from the top down, perfect for self-striping or gradient yarns. The shape sits easily on the shoulders, allowing it to be worn open or closed with your favorite shawl pin.

Materials
24” or longer circular needle, Size 6 (4mm) or size needed to obtain desired gauge
Two contrasting skeins of fingering or light fingering weight yarn, 420m/100g each, such as Zauberball Crazy. Self-striping or gradient recommended for at least one of the two yarns.
Stitch markers
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

Gauge
5 stitches and 7 rows per inch in stockinette. Gauge is not critical.
