The Syrah Cowl and Headband are fun and quick projects using the x-st and simple stitches. The x-st is one of my favorite to crochet, and makes an appearance at least once each year since learning it.

This year, you get 4 versions in crochet patterns, the Syrah Cowl and Headband, the Syrah Swancho and Crossroads Ruana.

One can use sport weight yarn for maximum drape, but a DK or worsted weight yarn can be used to make it larger. The treble stitches will add to the drape and airiness while still adding warmth for transitioning into fall and winter.

The headband is a quick make, and adds a fun touch to styling one’s hair. The fit can be easily adjusted for teens and adults.

Grab 345 yards of your favorite sport weight and get started today with the Syrah Cowl and Headband.
