Tabi shoes are one of the hottest footwear trends at the moment. I wanted to design a lightweight wool sock that works equally well with Tabi ballet flats, Tabi boots and thong sandals. These socks extend the wearability of summer shoes well into autumn.

The sock is designed to feel as comfortable as possible both inside shoes and with sandals on cooler days. That’s why I designed a wool sock that is as lightweight and thin as possible, without compromising on warmth.

Notes:

  • The socks are worked from the cuff down to the toes.
  • In the Tabi Sock, the big toe is worked separately from the other toes.
  • The sock is designed to have a close fit, as it will loosen slightly with wear.
  • If you’re knitting the socks using magic loop, place stitch markers at the needle change points to make it easier to keep track of your stitch count.
