This crochet pattern gives detailed, step by step instructions telling you how to crochet a toy cat using Red Heart Plush and a size G crochet hook (3.5mm). The cat is about 12 inches tall (30 cm) when made from Red Heart Plush or other worsted weight yarn.

The booklet has 16 pages. The pattern is clearly written, with a great deal of detail. It includes instructions for jointing all four limbs and the head with plastic safety joints. For those who prefer the look of thread-jointed limbs, I’ve also included detailed instructions on how to thread-joint the arms and legs.

You’ll find that this pattern also includes instructions to crochet the cute little dress that the kitten is wearing. The dress is crocheted with sport weight yarn. If you want to create a male cat, you can make a collar for him using size 10 crochet thread and a purchased doll buckle.

The pattern includes a list of abbreviations and some internet sources of supplyson chart. Several color photos are also included.
