Table Salt is a slightly-tapered tube-shaped cowl. Knit it from a partial skein of your favorite soft sock yarn!

The combined textures make a reversible fabric; in fact, some (most) of the featured photos are accidentally of the wrong side.

Materials:
275 yards or 1 skein of Malabrigo Yarn Sock
1 16” circular needle in US3/3.25mm, or size needed for gauge.
Tapestry needle.

Measurements:
Table Salt is a smallish neckwarmer cowl: finished dimensions at gauge are about 10“/25cm tall by 8“/20cm wide at the top, and 11“/28cm wide at the bottom.

(All measurements are taken flat; for circumferences, please double the flat measurement. Keep in mind that ribbing draws in, so flat measurements with no tension may seem a bit narrow.)

Gauge:
Gauge is 13 sts and 21 rows over 2”/5cm in blocked welted pattern.
Please be sure to check your gauge. (It may be okay to go bigger, but any smaller and you may not end up with a functional cowl.)
