Taffy is a seamless hooded cardigan worked from the top down with raglan shaping, short-row neck shaping, and clean tubular finishes.
Designed for babies and toddlers from 0–3 months to 3–4 years, it combines structured front bands with a central textured stitch pattern and an integrated hood.

The cardigan begins with a provisional cast-on and a raglan yoke. Asian-style short rows shape the back neck for improved fit and balance. Sleeves are worked in the round from held stitches. The hood is worked flat and shaped at the crown, then finished with an I-cord edging and ties. The neckline features a faux Kitchener edge for a neat transition. Hem and cuffs are worked in tubular ribbing for elasticity and structure.
Buttonholes are integrated into the front band and spaced evenly throughout the body.
