Taiga Tale is a lace crescent-shaped shawl, beginning from the top center back and worked down and outward.

SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate

YARN: The sample is shown in Kid Mohair Yarn (72% kid mohair, 28% polyamide; 750 m 820 yds per 100 g).
The sample shawl required 638 m/698 yds or 85 grams of yarn.

It is strongly recommended to use natural fiber yarn (linen, cotton, wool, and silk), or yarn including a minimum synthetic fiber; approximately 500 to 800 m (545 to 875 yds) per 100 g.

Gauge is not crucial and can be changed to fit the desired yarn. Finished measurements and the required yardage will depend on yarn choice, needle size and your individual manner of knitting.

MATERIALS USED:
 Size 3.25 mm / US 3 circular needles;
 Size 2.0 mm crochet hook for binding off;
 Stitch markers, tapestry needle, and a waste yarn for provisional cast on.

FINISHED DIMENSIONS: 182 cm 72½″ wingspan and 73 cm 29″ deep, relaxed after wet blocking.

The pattern includes charts and all the necessary pattern notes; row-by-row written instructions are not included.

Charts are worked from bottom to top. Right-side (odd-numbered) rows are worked from right to left. The pattern repeat is outlined in bold red. On the wrong-side rows, all stitches (including yarn overs) are purled between the edge stitches except for the Central Stitch.
