This is an unusaul little set consisting of a tailcoat, waistcoat (with attached bow tie), trousers hat and sock and shoe booties.
The tailcoat knitted in a different colour alone makes an unusual style of everyday cardigan too, and in pink trimmed with lace is gorgeous for a little girl.
This is a relatively simple set to make, the shaping on the tails, and picking up the stitches on the bands require a little concentration, but I always enjoy making this set.
It looks good with a little guipure lace added to the cuffs and a satin rosette on the shawl collar, but it can be left plain and still look gorgeous.
