I have been inspired by the whimsy of Tasha Tudor--American illustrator and author of children’s books. She had a philosophy of “take joy” in her life as she walked barefoot through her garden filled with forget-me-nots. In many of her photos, she wears a simple handmade garter stitch shawl. I share her passion for gardening and life and just knew I needed to make myself a shawl Tasha would have been proud to call her own.

With that in mind, I also wanted to support a farm raising sheep consciously and I also wanted to use a natural, undyed yarn.
