Take me to the beach is a half circle shawl perfect for summer. It´s shape is easy to wear and will keep you warm on chilly summer nights. It´s knitted in one piece and the pattern is perfect for the fade kits, that are so popular right now…..or just dive into your stash and pick 3 colours of sock yarn and start knitting! Have fun!

3 skeins (C1: Bubble, C2: Wildcard, C3: Pesto)

3.5mm circular knitting needles (80cm or longer)

6 stitch marker, tapestry needle

GAUGE
20 stitches = 10cm in St st. (after wet blocking)
Adjust needle size to obtain correct gauge if necessary!
I admit, I hate (and I mean HATE it) to swatch, but it is so important to check your gauge. Even if you use the same yarn and needle size. We all knit differently, so please make sure to invest some time to find the right needle size for your yarn and project. Even though the gauge is not critical when knitting a shawl (if you knit looser you will end up with a bigger shawl and if you knit tighter you will end up with a smaller shawl), but keep in mind, that it can influence the yardage and size of your finished project.
