DESCRIPTION
Wanting to try your hand at short rows? This pattern is not only cute-to-boot with a wider section at the front and a thinner section at the back (hello coverage without the bulk at the neck), it’s also the perfect way to practice your German Short Row technique and Wrap & Turn Method. In this pattern you will work short-to-long short rows and long-to-short short rows - both creating a different shape that’s perfect for the look of this chunky thick headband.

Knit with size 6 super bulky yarn, this pattern whips up in no time flat. By the end you should have a super cute headband, and get to know which short row technique you prefer.

Height at Tallest: 5” (13 cm)
Height at Shortest: 3” (8 cm)
Width Laid Flat: 9.25” (23 cm)
Circumference Unstretched): 18.5” (47 cm)

You will need to know how to cast on, knit stitch, purl stitch, knit in the round, watch Short Row Videos, and decrease.

MATERIALS NEEDED:
- 1 ball of Lion Brand Wool- Ease Thick N’ Quick (80% acrylic, 20% wool; 106yrds/170g)

or 50 yds or 45 m of super bulky weight yarn, category 6

• Size US 13/9 mm circular needles, 16”/40 cm long
• 2 stitch markers
