Now you can be thinking out loud while you keep your head warm.

Talking Heads is a cosy and slouchy hat with something to say.
The hat is worked in the round, including a speech bubble in stockinette intarsia on a garter stitch background. Once the hat is completed, you can express yourself with some embroidered lettering.

Talking Head’s speech bubble motif is created using the intarsia method of knitting. While the intarsia motif is worked, the hat is worked back and forth in rows, but is joined seamlessly using the wrap and turn method. Lettering is applied as surface decoration once the hat is complete, using backstitch, chainstitch or an embroidery stitch of your choosing.
