What could be more suitable for winter than warm red, white, and gray? These shades also evoke Christmas feelings, and when I knit this during the Christmas break, I had to make an effort to ensure that it wouldn’t be associated with Christmas. I ended up with the name ‘Winter Magic’ in finnish Talven Taika. When the name finally came to mind, I thought that’s what it will be.

The yoke of the Talven Taika sweater, is knitted in the round from top down, starting from the center back. If you want a tighter ribbing for the neckline, use 4 mm circular needles. Switch to 5 mm needles after the ribbing. Short rows are knitted at the back of the neck for a better fit. The yoke is divided into front/back and sleeves. The sleeves are knitted with shorter circular needles needles from top down. Read the instructions carefully before starting. The pictures show the knitted sweater in size 3.
