Reminiscent of delicate snowflakes and their intricate geometry, Talvi’s graceful lines make the most of this beautiful Cabécou Brilliant Lace yarn. To keep things simple, the shawl is constructed in one piece from the bottom edge and is shaped with a set of easy short rows worked without tricky wraps. The short rows shape Talvi into a versatile crescent that wraps itself effortlessly around the shoulders without a need for a shawl pin. Combined in rhythmic patterns, a mix of basic lace stitches come together in a shawl that is interesting to knit and a pleasure to wear.

Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size, drape, and yardage requirement (original sample used 800 yards).
