This pattern is 2 in one pattern. 2 stoles, 5 different scalloping edges variations.

The pattern contains base version with the corners filled with peas. The stole with this pattern was sold in 1970-th to one of famous Russian mezzo sopranos Tamara Sinyavskaya.
Advanced version (pictured) was test knit in 2012-2013 by Ekaterina Godovova and one of her students in Orenburg School of Arts. Stole was at Orenburg museum exhibition in February-March 2013.

For stole we need 1700-1800m in lace weight, 1500-1600mm in gossamer yarn.
Size: 80x175cm.
Needles:
1.5mm-1.75mm for gossamer weight yarn
2mm-2.75mm for lace weight yarn
-Soft lace weight or gossamer yarns will be a nice choice for this pattern. The variety of yarns can be used in 90/2nm-30/2nm (lace). Authentic Orenburg goat down plied with silk or cotton yarns (lace weight).
