A truly classic and wonderfully simple sweater, Tamarack only requires knits and purls along with common increases and decreases and some German Short rows to shape the shawl collar. But this wonderful simplicity does not in any way detract from its handsomeness. A timeless shawl collar cardigan, Tamarack is worked seamlessly from the top-down and uses Broken Rib stitch for easy-to-knit, all-over texture. The shawl collar is scaled so that the larger sizes will have a larger collar. Shown is size 6 on a child that normally wears size 5T.

Tamarack is part of the Woodland Ramble collection. The entire collection is available as both an ebook and printed book. You can find the printed book on my website here.
