Tandragee is an asymmetric triangular shawl knit sideways from one tip to the opposite edge. It features an eye-catching interplay of slip stitch colourwork and simple lace, and is finished with a delicate picot edge.

Knit in sections of single and two-colour patterns, it is never boring. Lots of colour, lots of texture, and lots of variety to hold your interest.

The pattern includes row-by-row instructions with stitch counts for every row, and handy tables to help you keep track of your progress.

As a fun bonus - you will also receive the Tandragee Cuff pattern, an attractive finishing touch to the Tandragee shawl.

Brenda’s Tips and Tricks is a separate 12-page PDF and contains information on yarn selection, gauge, correcting errors, blocking, and much more! Learn about Visual Row Tracking – my favourite way to count rows. As an experienced knitting instructor, I love to share helpful tips, and offer lots of advice!

SKILL LEVEL - Well within the capabilities of an adventurous beginner, but interesting enough for an experienced knitter to enjoy.

Heartfelt thanks to my enthusiastic, dedicated team of test knitters. Your commitment of time, your expertise, and valuable feedback are greatly appreciated. Please go to Projects to admire their beautiful shawls.

Special thanks to Kim Reimer of Black Cat Custom Yarns for creating such wonderfully delicious yarn! Your inspiring colours are truly amazing and the yarn is a pleasure to work with. Every stitch is a joy.

Tandragee (Tan-druh-gee) is my hometown in County Armagh, Northern Ireland. I lived there with my parents and sister before immigrating to Canada.
