Tanemon is the baby level evolution of Palmon, one of the “main” digimon in Digimon Adventure! Initially I did not like Digimon as a child, it looked like “a typical boy’s thing”, but one day I saw the cover of the Digimon magazine, 6th volume, that had Mimi and Palmon run away from giant Monzaemon and I don’t know, I was so fascinated by that picture, from that moment on, I was obsessed with it. So, naturally, the Palmon digivolution line is a special one to me. When someone reached out to me and asked me if I could help them make a Tanemon amigurumi, I was truly delighted at the “excuse” to make this cutie! I hope some of you will enjoy making your cute little seedling digimon as well!

Materials
To make Tanemon you will need:
– A Crochet hook, 2.5mm
– Green and creme colored yarn; small bit of black thread for the mouth
– A tapestry needle and scissors
– Stuffing
– Felting wool for the face and eyes (instructions to crochet the face instead are available)
– A stitch marker to help you keep track of the start of the round
Please note that you can make Tanemon using any size crochet hook and yarn weight for a smaller or bigger result. Using DK yarn and a 2.5mm crochet hook, Tanemon should be about 10cm tall.
