I am not often inspired by just a color, but when I got this beautiful emerald yarn I just knew what I wanted to do with it. I found several stitch patterns that really spoke to me for this skein, which reminded me of emerald colored waters. The bubbles on the front and back are like the froth of the sea and blades of seaweed (also known as sea
tangle) ripple along the sides of the legs. After the leg merges onto the foot, tiny spirals curl along the sides of the foot, inspired by the swirls in seashells.
