Patter description from The Celtic Collection: “I wanted to bring the idea of knotwork as a symbol of continuity to the fore in a single emblem on the chest of this sweater. The highly sculptured quality of the emblem is accentuated by the neatly textured background, and makes it easy to trace the unbroken line. A wide band of knotwork motifs decorates the lower edge of the body and sleeves, while the neckband is an unusual double row of plaited cables.”
