Tarasgeir is the Gaelic name for the tool traditionally used to cut peats on the moorland for fuel. The pattern suits either the natural creamy white of our Deò yarn or for a more traditional look the Hebridean fibres in the Calma yarn that reflect the deep earthy browns of the peat banks.

With its cropped hemline, statement sleeves and decorative edging the Tarasgeir Sweater is a delicate and striking cover-up on cold days.

The majority of the pattern is in stocking stitch, with simple lace detailing.
