A tarboosh is a traditional hat worn throughout the Middle East, especially in the Eastern Mediterranean. It is a close fitting, flat topped, brimless hat. For this knit version, I used the texture found in my Kabsa mitts for the body of the hat and used stockinette stitch and decreases to create a flat, circular top.

Materials:
approximately 110 (120, 135, 140, 150) yards / 100 (110, 125, 130, 140) meters worsted weight yarn.

Finished Measurements: 16 (17.5, 19, 20.25, 21.75) inches / 40 (43.5, 47.5, 51, 54.5) cm finished circumference

Skills Required: Knitting in the round, decreasing.
