Skill level: Intermediate
Skills required:
crocheting in rounds, ch, sc, hdc, sl st, inc, dec, magic ring, stitching amigurumi parts together.

Materials used in pattern photos:

  • Yarn: 15g/50m 4ply/sport mercerised cotton
  • Crochet hook: 3.0 mm
  • 8mm / 1.9mm O-ring/Toric Joint (or similarly sized ring)
  • Tapestry needle
  • Scissors
  • Filling

You can make your tardigrade larger or smaller by using thicker/thinner yarn and hook, as well as a larger or smaller o-ring. The amount of yarn required will of course change accordingly, as will the lengths of yarn needed for the creation of the grooves and the yarn left at the beginning and end of each bodypart. Using a 4ply yarn and a 3mm hook, your tardigrade will be about 8-9cm long.

Please note that this pattern is for personal use only.
