This is a pattern for a hand towel intended to hang on your oven handle or towel rack.

It should be made of 100% cotton yarn so it is functional and can be washed. I recommend drying it flat and not in the dryer.

The pattern uses blue, white, and black 100% cotton yarn.

I used Loops & Threads Classic Cotton and it took about 1.5 skeins of blue, less than half a skein of white, and just a little black.

I would consider this an advanced beginner pattern.
It uses fpdc and bpdc to create a waffle like stitch.
