TATUSIOWE (DADDY’S) socks are cute shorties with simple lace and small cables, that create an interesting mix. I first used the pattern several years ago when knitting socks for my Dad, and decided to name the pattern after him :slightly_smiling_face:

Knit from a rounded toe up with stretchy but strong heel, these socks are a perfect accessory for warmer days.

The pattern includes written instructions and a chart for 3 sizes - 52, 60 and 68 stitches - corresponding with foot circumference of appr. 18/22/26 cm (7/8.7/10.2 in).

Fit: normal

MATERIALS
Yarn: appr. 200 m (218 yards) of fingering weight yarn
Actual yarn usage depends on the foot and leg size, that are both adjustable.
The sample is shown in Miss Knitski Bamboorino (400m/100g) in color Pistachio. The yardage for the sample was 156 m (170 yrds) for EU size 36 and 60 sts

Needles: 2.25 mm (US 1) 80 cm circular needles/DPNs or needles to obtain gauge

Gauge: 33 sts x 43 rows - 10 cm x 10 cm (4 in x 4 in) in stockinette stitch, unstretched

Other: 2 stitch markers, tapestry needle

Druty: 2.25 mm druty na żyłce 80 cm/pończosznicze lub rozmiar, który daje odpowiednią próbkę

Próbka: 33 oczek x 43 rzędy - 10 cm x 10 cm ściegiem pończoszniczym, bez naciągania.

Inne: 2 markery, igła dziewiarska
