this is pattern 4/7 in pleiades the 2019 sock collection, celebrating all-natural sock yarns and accompanied by the operation sock drawer zine. patterns will be released over 2019 and can be purchased individually or as a whole at a reduced cost.

taygete was the sister best known for her companionship with the goddess artemis, and is in fact often attributed to being the golden doe accompanying the huntress on her journeys.

these short socks feature a sweet and simple arrow-like cable, a perfect nod to artemis’s prowess with the bow. choose a yarn with higher mohair content to get a natural shimmer to your socks, similar to the way the sun glints off a deer’s hide. these socks can easily be modified for a longer leg if desired.
