A warm and beautiful ‘Rib & Cable’ hat perfect for either a cable-rookie or practiced veteran. Ribbing continues through to the crown’s final stitches.

This charted design will fit a wide variety of heads. It would be a beautiful snug hat for a small sized teen or adult yet has plenty of stretch to fit up to a 24-25” head.

I have included five modification suggestions, thereby, providing you with directions on how to personalise the finished fit and look to suit your personal taste.

It can be worked in any worsted weight wool but I have suggest Madelinetosh DK Twist and Alice Starmore Hebridean 3 Ply since they are my personal favorite ‘go-to’ yarns.

I also strongly suggest using DyakCraft Darn Pretty Handmade needles for all knitted projects as they are sheer perfection! Also, they are handmade in the USA.

This hat is the perfect mate for Taylor’s Scarf, also available in my Ravelry Pattern Store.
