Two of my favorite things about when the weather begins to cool down are wool and a nice hot cup of Earl Grey with milk. I’ve always admired the elegance and tradition of petite tea cups and beautiful tea pots, but time and time again I find myself instead reaching for my giant red mug, bypassing the tea cups and pots entirely. This hat is my way of combining my two favorite cool weather items: tea and wool. It also serves as reminder to myself of the traditions of tea drinking that I often forget.

Tea Time is a stranded beret that features tea pots and tea cups. The hat is knit bottom up in the round. The pattern is a combination of written and charted directions. The color work is charted.
