Yarn: 438 yds / 400 m Dk or light worsted weight yarn. Sample knit using Merino DK by Hedgehog Fibers,100% Merino, in Tea Cup.  

Size: US size 8 / 5 mm long circular needle for holding a large number of sts  

Notions: Tapestry needle, stitch marker

Gauge: 16 sts = 4” / 10 cm in Stockinette Stitch after wet blocking (gauge is not overly important; however, it will alter yardage and finished measurements)

Skill Level: Adventurous Beginner / Intermediate

Construction: Heart-shaped triangle shawl knit top down with bumble-inspired lace edge and a picot bind-off. Increases have been added to the heart shape to make the longer edge and body fuller.
