Back in 2010, watching Team Canada conquer the Olympics at home was an incredible experience. Even though I was quite young I still remember some of the highlights: Crosby’s OT goal, Tessa and Scott’s ice dancing, and most applicable here: the team fashion.

I wanted that Team Canada toque more than anything and you simply could not get it. But now a decade and a half later, I’ve decided to do something about it and make my own pattern.

This toque is one size fits most but can likely be adjusted by going up or down a needle size or adding additional stitches in between repeats of the colourwork chart in multiples of four.

In my test knit I used about half a ball each of Knitting for Olive Merino in Claret, Licorice, and Cream but I would recommend using Pomegranate, Licorice, and Snowflake for a more photo accurate look.

Pattern is available in both English and French.

Dans 2010, j’ai vu l’équipe Canada ont gagné beaucoup des médailles dans l’olympique Vancouver, et l’a été une expérience incroyable.

J’ai voulu la toque de l’équipe Canada plus que tout, mais je ne l’ai pas trouvé. Alors, 16 ans après, je décide pour la fait.

Ca toque est un taille mais peut être ajusté si tu utiliseras une aiguille un taille plus grand ou petit, ou ajouter des mailles additional entre les répétitions de la modèle de jacquard dans multiples quatres.

Dans mon tricot d’essai, j’ai utilisé environ une demi-boule de “Knitting for Olive Merino” dans Claret, Licorice, et Cream, mais je recommends tu utilises Pomegranate, Licorice, et Snowflake pour un rendu plus fidèle.

La modèle est prêt dans français et anglais.
