Teapot Granny Square
This whimsy teapot design is worked entirely in the round, with no appliques or the need to sew in details later!
The squares make for dreamy blanket pieces, or just one or few of them sewn together create a beautiful wall hanging for kitchens and dining spaces.
As the teapot is worked in the round and the design is asymmetrical, the instructions needed to create it are most suitable for advanced crocheters. This unique granny square needs many (sometimes modified) different stitches to accomplish, such as front post trebles, and one needs to possess good knowledge of stitch anatomy and ability to follow, at times, complicated instructions to create this beautiful square. That being said, this pattern does include plenty of pictures to guide you through the hard parts along with written explanations.
After having created the main teapot design there’s a round of basic granny pattern, so if one wishes to modify the square by continuing to make it bigger with basic granny rounds, it’s very easy!
This 15-page digital PDF contains row-by-row crochet pattern for creating the square, and contains a lot of progression pics for help. The PDF is in english and uses US terminology.
