Have you been eyeing one of those trendy Teddy bags? With this crochet pattern, Durable Teddy, Cosy Fine and your favorite crochet hook you can simply make one yourself in your favorite color combo! We opted for a raspberry-red lining and a soft pink outer layer made with Durable Teddy. You can bring this bag with you on your next shopping trip, use it as a yoga bag or maybe even as a new project bag!

About this pattern:

  • Construction of the bag: The bag consists of a lining made with Durable Cosy Fine (this is the “base” of the bag) and an outer layer made with Durable Teddy. The base of the bag – including the straps – is worked in a spiral. After that, the outer layer is crocheted on the bag using Durable Teddy.
  • Tip: When working the Teddy layer, push the finished rounds inwards after finishing the bottom of the bag so you will be able to see the front loops of the base clearly.
  • Having trouble finding the first loop when you start working with Teddy? The first loop is on the same side as the beginning and end of every round.
  • Switch things up: You can also use Durable Furry for the outer layer instead of Durable Teddy
  • Yarn needed: Durable Cosy fine, 58% cotton & 42% polyacrylic, 50g/105m/115yd, Color A: 228 Raspberry, 5 à 6 balls Durable Teddy, 100% polyamide, 50g/65m/71yd, Color B: 225 Vintage Pink, 8 à 9 balls
