This charming little blankie will keep baby entertained as well as cozy and warm. Embroidered letters and friendly bears are applied after knitting.

The lettering is done with duplicate stitch, but cross stitch or even continental stitch, depending on the yarn used, will serve just as well to apply the letters. A blank chart is included for knitters to design their own lettering, like perhaps the baby’s initials or even numbers

Additional materials include embroidery floss for the bears’ faces and to attach the bears to the blanket. Ribbon is also needed for their little bow ties and a little bit of fiberfill to plump up their bellies and heads.
