“I have to buy a hat with a teddy bear ears” I remember myself when I was shopping for my little one. Who knows why? Simply because the babies look so cute in this type of hats and beanies.
I made this hat up just yesterday. Honestly. I had something different on my mind. Something more like a beret. But I frogged and changed the idea so many times that I ended up with this hat. And now I am happy to share this pattern with you.

Bear Hat with ear flaps free crochet pattern

Size: 38-40 cm/14.9 – 15.7 in (0-2 months)
Yarn: Himalaya Baby Dolphin Chenille Yarn light yellow (80302) and Yarnart Dolce brown (754)

HDC – half double crochet

Each row starts with either 1 CH = Single Crochet or 2 CH = Half Double Crochet/Double Crochet and ends with SlSt. With the use of markers you can crochet around without using SlSt.
