Teddy Bears Retreat
Create a cute teddy bear baby blanket using the TEDDY BEARS RETREAT pattern. It uses overlay mosaic crochet techniques to create this fun design.

There is a tiny bit of colour changing required for the mouth, nose and eyes, but instructions on how to colour change are given in the pattern. If you prefer to use the Intarsia method, then check out my video on YouTube here. There are two pattern strip versions of the teddies to create the off-set look. There are also additional instructions if you want the teddies’ snouts and ears a different colour.

THINGS TO NOTE
- The pattern uses basic Overlay Mosaic Crochet techniques.
- There is some colour changing required, although instructions are given.
- THIS IS A PDF PATTERN DOWNLOAD. You will not receive any physical items. You will be sent an email with download instructions.
- This is only available in ENGLISH.
- Terms used are in US notation. However, it is easy to convert to UK style.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
For the Baby Blanket shown and based on Stylecraft Special Aran with a 4.50 mm hook:
- A (Cream): Background 950m
- B (Ginger): Teddies’ fur 580m
- D/E (Brown): Nose/mouth/eyes 150m
Make a sample or use a previous piece of work in the same yarn and hook to get an idea of size and the amounts of yarn needed. You may need more depending on the border type and colour you choose. The above is a guide.
