The Teddy Zip is a cozy, textured unisex jacket that will become a quick favourite in your wardrobe. The body knits up quick using three strands of yarn: two strands of worsted weight boucle yarn and one strand of worsted weight wool yarn. The jacket is finished with the installation of a full length zipper, sewn into a zipper lining for a professional finish. Tubular cast off and bind offs are utilized for a neat look.

Construction
The jacket is knit back and forth in rows in one piece from the bottom up. The ribbing is worked in Yarn A only, and Yarn B is added for the body. The body is separated to create the pocket openings and rejoined to close. The jacket is worked in one piece until separation for the armholes. The shoulders are seamed and stitches are picked up for the collar. Stitches are picked up for the sleeves and German short rows are worked to shape the sleeve cap. Sleeves are worked in the round and finished with cuffs worked in Yarn A only.

Stitches are picked up for the pocket hem using Yarn A. Pocket linings are worked and sewn to the wrong side of the garment. The zipper lining is worked and seamed to the collar. Finally, the zipper is sewn in between the front opening and zipper lining pieces.
