I decided to create this design when I realised that most of the crochet bunting out there uses equilateral triangles. I much prefer my bunting flags to taper a bit at the point so I set about creating a pretty, pointy triangle!

I made my bunting out of Scheepjes Catona 4ply mercerised cotton and used a 3.5mm hook. This makes flags that are approximately 9 cm from top to bottom and 7 cm wide at the string. You can use whatever yarn and hook combination you fancy, or even mix them up!

Each motif only uses a small amount of yarn, so it’s a great stash buster. I used 20 different colours in a rainbow, but of course, you can make any colour combination you want.
