After much reflection, I have decided to retire the pay-what-works model for the time being. The truth being that it didn’t work for me. I explained this in an instagram post which you can find here. Knitting patterns are extremely undervalued and as a designer who isn’t part of the 1% earning most of the money, my business is simply unsustainable without charging what I deserve for my work which is focused on size inclusivity and a fit that is proportionally correct across the large size range. If you believe in my work and would like to receive the pattern at a reduced price while enjoying other benefits, please consider joining my Patreon. If you would like to knit one of my patterns but are experiencing extreme financial hardship - feel free to e-mail me at: sopranoknits@gmail.com and we will find a solution.

Please note for those located in Europe that VAT is applied at checkout.

Télégramme -a #sizeinclusive classic boxy cropped cardigan to fit every shape - was named for the dots and dashes that emerge from broken rib as well as the hidden message in the underarm detail. This v-neck raglan is worked seamlessly from the top down with shaping to raise the back neck, and raglan and v-neck shaping that is specific to each size to create even garment proportions across the size range. The body is worked without waist shaping to create a boxy silhouette, before the neckback is picked up and the sleeves are worked to fluidly continue the cabled pattern from the sides of the body.

This pattern was a collaboration with La Bien Aimée in the La bien aimée x Mondim base (a collaboration in itself with Retrosaria in the Caramel colorway. Many thanks to Aimée for working with me on this collaboration and providing yarn support and a discount to my testers!
