I was looking for inspirations for a scarf for my mom. She doesn’t like to feel something tight around her neck, so I had to create something very airy. At first I found the yarn, Kid Silk Haze from Rowan, which turns out to be great: The scarf weights less than 40g, but it keeps you really warm. The leaf pattern I rediscovered in my flat mates old needlework book, consorts well with the yarn’s color. I added a cable border, cause in combination with this pattern I like it more than the typical garter stitch.
