When Master Teng Teng was a young little panda, he dreamed one day he would live up in the sky.

  • When I grow up, I’ll be living up in the sky! - He said to everyone.
  • How will you get there? – Everyone asked.
  • I will climb it myself! – He answered seriously. Everyone thought he was joking and laughed loudly, but when he had grown up and built his house on the top of ‘Yanakhachi’ Mountain everyone understood that it wasn’t just a kid’s dream. … The full bears story in my Instagram account - @lovelyknitcreation

Materials
Yarn A – “Drops” Sky Uni Color, color 04 Grey (approx. 25 g) for the bear
Yarn B – “Drops” Sky Uni Color, color 01 White (approx. 30 g) for the bear
Yarn C - “Infinity.design” Alpaca, color 0723 Green (less than 10 g) for the scarf

I used the double thread of “Drops” Sky Yarn to knit the bear. If you want to knit with a single thread then use yarn with the following characteristics: approximately 90-110 m (98-120 yards) in 50 g to get the bear 21-23 cm (8.2-9.0”) tall.

Toy stuffing – washable polyester (approx. 30 g)
White embroidery thread for the eyes, black embroidery thread for the nose
Two black round loop backed eyes (diameter is approx. 6 mm)
Two buttons for the scarf (diameter is approx. 10 mm)

Equipment
One pair of 2.75 mm straight knitting needles (UK12/US2)
Plastic-headed pins
A Tapestry needle with a rounded point for sewing up the pieces (length is approx. 5 cm (2”))
A Tapestry needle for attaching the eyes and embroidery the nose (length is approx. 8-9 cm (3.5”))
